Masseria Corda di Lana is an example of rural Salentine tradition, and is a typical example of how architecture within this structure was organized to work and daily life of the peasants of the past.

Over the years, the Masseria has undergone several expansions and has since transformed its functions in tandem with the progress of civilization. The resort’s more ancient components are the reception, the bar, the conference room and the ten suites.

This structure dates back to 600. The restaurant is covered with wooden trusses, dating from the nineteenth century, with functioned as a stable. The estate was part of the properties of the royalty of Belmonte, later inherited by Countess Donna Laura Del Balzo.

In 1920 two large silos, such as storage of fodder, which dominate the complex were built. They have been carefully restored.
