Arneo Land is rich in agro-food typical products. The oil, wine, cheese and baked goods are the main elements of the local diet. Among the dairy products are caciocavallo dell'Arneo, the junket Marzot, and a special type of special salata "ricotta" surrounded by wild grass.
Among the major grape varieties are Negroamaro, Malvasia and Primitivo from which the grapes produce different wines, some of which a are assigned a designation of origin (DOC).
Many of the wineries, and wine museums of Veglie, Salice Salentino Guagnano and can be visited with the different routes proposed gastronomic territory. Typical local bakery products are known as the taralli, bread wheat and Frisa of Salentine quality represent excellence in the production of food products.
